Near the picturesque village of Trittenheim, the Mosel River makes a 180 degree bend, known as the Saar Bow, carved through bedrock over millions of years. This seven kilometer bow wraps around a tree filled ridge. The Milz family has been making wine in this fertile crest since 1520. The Milz family owns the finest vineyards in Trittenheim. This Riesling is Medium-Dry for a harmonious balance. The taste features racy acidity and minerality set against notes of pear and crisp citrus.
This Riesling will pair very well with seafood, lighter pasta dishes, and a variety of white meats such as chicken, turkey, or delicate cuts of pork.
