The Müenzenrieder vine-growing estate lies in the Neusiedlersee/ Seewinkel national park. Through natural cultivation methods, rigorous harvest scrutiny, and controlled cellar operations, winegrowers Johann and Johannes Müenzenrieder produce potent wines marked with regional characteristics and tremendous intensity. The special microclimate of the sun drenched Seewinkel area allows for fruitful, fresh white wines and dense, robust red wines to flourish. This wine is 100% Zweigelt, Austria's most important red grape varietal. It features pronounced cherry and gingerbread flavors. It is inviting on the palate with defined tannins and good length.
Zweigelt pairs well with Mediterranean cuisine, red meat dishes, as well as an array of fried or roasted recipes with mild sauces.
