Situated near the Alsace region in France, the Baden highlands have been making wine for centuries. Compared to other regions, Baden’s wines are somewhat rare on the international market. It runs long north to south, giving it a vast array of thriving varietals and different terroirs. Our Black Forest wines are produced by the collectives of small vineyards that produce 85% of Baden’s wine. The cool climate makes Pinot Noir Baden's most widespread varietal where it has been cultivated for over one thousand years. It has characteristic notes of cherry, plum and a delicate earthy flavor with tobacco on the palate. This pinot comes in a 500 ml bottle shaped like a decorated pine tree.
