Schonauer Apple Liqueur

Schönauer Apple Liqueur was popularized by German university students in the 1970s as the only way to start a party. This is a delicious mix of Germany's best apples and grain spirits. In 2003, Schönauer received a Gold Medal and 95 point rating from the Beverage Testing Institute. 2nd place got an 83. You can compare apples to apples but Schönauer is in a class by itself. They stated that Schönauer was sweetly tart, with baked apple flavors, and almost no discernable alcohol taste. For those who claim to love Green Appletinis, think about when you bite into an apple. What color is it? Shouldn't your appletini be the same color? If it's made with Schönauer, it will be the color of real apples. Schönauer contains no artificial colors or flavorings. Schonauer contains NO CARAMEL COLORING!

Schonauer Apfel Liqueur with 21% Alcohol is produced in the distillery which was founded in 1854. Located at Schonau estate in the Sachsenwald near Hamburd the distillery and the sachsenwald Estate belong to the Bismarck Family since chancellor Otton von Bismarck's time.

This product is typical German specialty and ranks among the best selling brands of its kind in Germany. It can be consumed straight, as well as on the rocks or mixed with soda, tonic or in a variety of cocktails.

Bourbon Schönauer Apple Liqueur Muddled Orange Dash bitters Mix Schonauer, bourbon and bitters in a rocks glass. Fill with ice cubes and stir. Drop in a cherry and an orange slice.

1 1/2 oz Schönauer Apple Liqueur 1 1/2 oz Vodka 1/2 oz Lemon Juice 1/2 oz Cranberry Juice Shake, strain up into a cocktail glass. Lemon wheel or twist as garnish.

Pinnacle Whipped Vodka and Schönauer Apple Liqueur topped with apple juice and caramel sauce.

Harvest Appletini

1 ½ oz Schönauer Apple Liqueur 1 ½ oz Vodka Mix, shake, and pour. Garnish with an apple slice.

Apple Pie

3 oz Schönauer Apple Liqueur Cinnamon Schnapps Pour Schönauer into an old-fashioned glass over ice. Splash with cinnamon schnapps and garnish with an apple slice.

Cinful

1 oz. Cinnamon Infused Vodka 1 oz. Appleton 12 Year Old Rum 1/2 oz. Schoenauer (Brown) Apple Schnapps 1 1/2 oz. Apple Cider Preparation In a cocktail shaker filled with ice, combine all the ingredients. Shake vigorously and strain into a chilled martini glass. Garnish with a sprinkle of fresh nutmeg and a dried apple chip.

2 oz Schönauer Apple Liqueur 1 oz Lemon juice Pour into a highball glass over ice and fill with club soda.

Apple Breeze

1.5 oz Schönauer Apple Liqueur ½ oz Cranberry Juice 3 oz Soda Water 1 Lemon wedge Serve over ice in a tall glass; fill with soda water and top with a splash of cranberry juice. Garnish with lemon wedge.

Apple-Pom Cocktail

1 oz Schönauer Apple Liqueur 1 oz Sempe VSOP Armagnac 1/2 oz Lemon juice 1/2 oz Grenadine Shake over ice and serve in a cocktail glass.

Apple Pie a la Mode-tini

½ oz. Schonauer Apple Liqueur 2 oz. Pinnacle Whipped 2 oz. apple cider/juice ½ oz. caramel sauce Shake over ice and strain into a chilled martini glass. Top with a dollop of whipped cream and drizzle with caramel sauce.

Apples to Oranges

1 1/2 oz Calvados Coquerel 1 1/2 oz Schönauer Apple Liq. 3/4 oz Orange Liqueur 1 oz fresh orange juice 2 dashes orange bitters Orange peel, for garnish Shake vigorously over iced. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with an orange peel.

Schonauer Cinnamon Tea

Schonauer Apple Liqueur Apple Cinnamon Tea Freshly Ground Cinnamon Cinnamon Stick Brew a mug of hot Apple Cinnamon Tea and add a shot of Schonauer Apple liqueur. Top with a sprinkle of freshly ground cinnamon and a cinnamon stick. Warms you right up.

1 shot of Sierra Tequila 1 shot of Schonauer Apple Liqueur Sodawater Muddled Lime

Fall Sangria

*compliments of Master Mixologist Lindsay Skillman from Kimonos at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel 1½ oz Schönaur Apple Liqueur 3 oz Geikkekan Sake 1 oz 44 North Huckleberry Vodka ¼ oz Cinnamon Powder ½ oz Agave Nectar Fresh Cinnamon Stick garnish Combine all ingredients and shake well with ice and pour into sangria glass. Top with a cinnamon stick.

*compliments of Master Mixologist Sean Sullivan of Aureole 135 W 42nd St, New York, NY ¼ oz Schönauer Apple Liqueur 1¾ oz Pyrat XO Rum ½ oz Plantation 5 year Star Rum ¼ oz Punt e Mes (vermouth) ¼ oz Nonino Amaro (bitter) Combine all in a cocktail shaker and stir until chilled (do not shake). Strain into martini glass and garnish with cinnamon stick.

Garnish with crushed walnuts.
