PennyPacker Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey

PennyPacker was developed in the 70s as an export brand to embody everything American; The Penny, Abraham Lincoln and The American Flag. It was the number one selling Bourbon in the European market in the 70s. PennyPacker was introduced to the US market in May of 2013. With 70% corn it has a certain amount of sweetness with a light finish, which makes it ideal for sipping or mixing in cocktails.

PennyPacker Bourbon, Sweet Vermouth, Angostura Bitters, Cherry

The Penny Derby

1 ounce PennyPacker Bourbon 1/2 ounce sweet vermouth 1/2 ounce orange curacao 3/4 ounce fresh lime juice Shake with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with a lime.

Black Manhattan

2 oz PennyPacker Bourbon 3/4 oz Amaro Tosolini 2 Dashes Angostura Bitters Stir and strain into a cocktail glass over ice.

Fancy Free

2 oz PennyPacker Bourbon 1 1/2 oz Maraschino Liqueur 2 dashes orange bitters 1 dash Angostura Bitters Orange twist Garnish Over ice, add PennyPacker Bourbon, Maraschino, orange bitters, and Angostura and stir until chilled, about 15 seconds. Garnish with orange twist.

The City Bourbon

1 1/2 oz. PennyPacker Bourbon 1/2 oz. Pomegranate Liqueur 2 oz. Cranberry juice 1 oz. Ginger ale Lime wedge squeezed Add three quarters of a Collins glass of ice to a cocktail mixer along with the PennyPacker Bourbon, Pomegranate Liqueur, and Cranberry juice. Stir well and then pour the contents into the Collins glass. Top with ginger ale, add the lime wedge, and gently stir. Serve.

Blackberry Fig Infused

compliments of Bar Manager Brad Palmer of Sip 103 N. Main Street Greenville, SC 4 Liters PennyPacker Bourbon 2 Cups Fresh Figs 2 Cups Fresh Blackberries In a large glass jar, add PennyPacker, Figs, and Blackberries. Allow to infuse for 5 days. Transer to Oak Barrel. Shake to expand, serve neat or over ice.

Cranberry Cooler

compliments of Josh Herder, Editor-in-Chief of 1 1/2 parts PennyPacker Bourbon 1 tbsp Cranberry Jame 1 tbsp Maple Syrup 1 drop Vanilla Extract 3 parts Cranberry Juice Splash of Club Soda Fresh Cranberries for garnish Add the PennyPacker Bourbon, Cranberry Jam, Maple Syrup, Vanilla Extract and Cranberry Juice to a shaker. Add ice. Shake vigorously. Strain over ice and add a splash of soda. Garnish with cranberries.

compliments of Chad Polczynski, Owner-Operator at The Tin Widow (703 S. 2nd St. in Milwaukee, WI) 1.5oz Penny Packer .5oz "Love Juice" (Pinot Noir/Coca Cola reduction) 1/4 Orange Slice 2-3 Dashes of Angostura Bitters Lightly Muddle Orange Slice and Love Juice Add Penny Packer Fill with Ice and Sweet Soda Float Angostura Bitters Recipe for Love Juice 2 cups Coca Cola 2 cups Pinot Noir Boil and reduce for 15-20 minutes Add 2 cups sugar Further reduce for 15-20 minutes Yields roughly 1 liter
