Gold was believed to have healing properties by 16th century doctors. Its reputed properties and unique taste made it immensely popular amongst European nobility. It was a personal favorite of Russian Tsars Peter and Catherine the Great. Do not be fooled by imitation gold liqueurs that use gold colored sugar flakes or artificial flavors. This is the purest, the original. On the palate, Original Danziger Goldwasser is spicy and tangy without being hot. Made from a secret recipe, it has tastes of anise, black licorice, and citrus.
1 ½ ounce of Original Danziger Goldwasser
½ ounce of Blue Curacao
In a rocks glass with ice, pour in the liquors. Stir and serve.
1.5 oz Original Danziger Goldwasser 1 orange slice Shake the bottle of Goldwasser and immediately serve on the rocks. Watch as the beautiful golden flakes float. Garnish with a fresh orange slice.
Sparkling GoldAdd 1 ounce of Original Danziger Goldwasser to a glass Fürst von Metternich Sekt.
Golden Retriever2 oz Original Danziger Goldwasser l
4 tsp Scotch
2 tsp lemon juice
3 tbs orange juice
½ tablespoon icing sugar
Champagne and ice
Orange slice for garnish
The first 5 ingredients with 3 Eisfwürfein mizxen. Top up with champagne
And garnish with an orange slice.
1/4 cup Original Danziger Goldwasser al
1.5 oz of lemon juice
1 teaspoon sugar or
3 tbs cl sugar syrup
Bitter Lemon, ice
Mix all ingredients except the bitter lemon in a highball glass. Add to Bitter
Lemon to taste.
