This distillery is owned and operated by the Staub family. The owner's son was their first salesperson, and his nickname "Francet" or "Small Frenchman" stuck and became the name of his family's product. Despite the growth of cognac's popularity, and their 150 years of distillation, the Staub family refused to compromise the quality and integrity of their brand by industrializing and spending vast sums on advertising. They relied on word of mouth and took the time to earn the respect and prestige their cognac holds. Francet Cognac VS comes in a pleasing light gold color. It is aged for two years in a traditional oak cask. This is a more robust cognac than other brands with an expressive finish.
