¾ ounce of Cognac Francet ¾ ounce of Calvados ½ ounce of orange liqueur Dash of licorice liqueur Stir and serve in a martini glass.

1 ¼ ounce of Calvados ¼ ounce of Triple Sec ½ ounce of Lemon Juice Shake and strain into a sour glass. Garnish with a cherry.

Culinary Suggestions

Calvados makes a fine addition to sauces for chicken, ostrich, and many traditional Norman recipes.

Calvados Cocktail

1½ ounces Calvados
1½ ounces fresh orange juice
¾ ounce Cointreau
2 dashes orange bitters
Orange peel, for garnish

Add all the ingredients except the garnish to a cocktail shaker. Add ice and shake vigorously. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass and garnish with an orange peel.
