Baden Weingartener Spaetburgunder

WEINGARTENER SPAETBURGUNDER TROCKEN

Spaetburgunder - also known as Pinot Noir - is the most planted grape in the Baden region, making Baden the largest Spaetburgunder producer in Germany. Weingarten, a small wine growing town nestled in the northern foot hills of the Black Forest, has a long tradition in producing outstanding dry Spaetburgunder. This Spaetburgunder shows great balance, a soft, yet firm, tannin, but a soft finish complementing its berry aroma.

It is an excellent choice as an aperitif or with a variety of dishes such as salmon, poultry, beef, lamb as well as oriental and cajun food.

In addition, Weingartener Spaetburgunder Dry matches perfectly with cheeses like Brie and Camembert, and because of its full body can also stand up to stronger cheeses like Roquefort, Stilton, and Gorgonzola.
